An exciting opportunity to join an up and coming team in the cyber security defence sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cyber security role and will have a passion for joining a dynamic and growing team of professionals.
Role Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate emerging Cyber security threats and ways to mitigate them
- Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments
- Own and manage the cyber security incident process
- Design and implement new or upgraded security systems to improve Cyber Security
- Monitor access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users
- Implement a privileged access management solution to ensure that privileged accounts are suitably protected
- VMware, Azure and Windows estate – Cloud based infrastructure
- Mainly project work based – some BAU but this is mainly liaising with 3rd party suppliers
- Internal monitoring
